“Aerial panoramic of beautiful area between Charley Creek and Gopher Creek, Everglades National Park.
Landscape is a fascinating combination of scattered old dead mangroves and young green mangrove heads rooted caked mud flats. You can see the taller head of trees on the horizon that is the Gopher Key Calusa mound. Also notice Pelican Bay behind the kayaks and Rookery Bay in the distance. This is one of the prettiest areas in the park with lots of wildlife, well worth seeing!
